ATI A15/66 Residual Sulfite Monitor
22
O&M Manual
Rev-W (8/10)
21. HOLDING T: 4.0’ After completion of a cleaning cycle, the monitor requires time to restabilize
before the 4-20 mA output and alarm contacts will again function normally. Alarms and outputs are
held for a fixed period of time. This holding time actually starts at the end of the cleaning time (item
19 above). You will want the holding time to add 2-3 minutes to the cycle after the air pump restarts.
Therefore, the holding time should be the inhibit time minus the cleaning time plus 2-3 minutes. For
example, assume you want to feed chlorine for 3 minutes, keep the pump off for 2 minutes after the
cleaning chemical feed shuts off, and allow 3 more minutes for the reading to stabilize, you will have
a total cycle time of 8 minutes. This would require a cleaning time of 3 minutes, an inhibit time of 5
minutes, and a holding time of 5 minutes (5 minute inhibit – 3 minute cleaning time + 3 minute hold
time).
22. CHANGE NR.: NO This routine allows programming of a custom access code number. If you wish
to change the access number from the default of “0”, use the UP key to change the display to YES
and then press ENTER. The display will change to “New Nr.: 0”. Use the UP or DOWN keys to set
the display to the access number you select and then press ENTER. The display will now read
“Confirm Nr.: 0”. You must then enter the same number a second time and again press ENTER.
The display will flash UPDATE and then go to the first routine in the configuration menu. Pressing
MODE will exit from the configurations routines.
CAUTION: Do not forget the new access number programmed into the unit. Your new access number is
your only method for entering the configuration menu. Call the ATI office listed on page 1 if
you forget your new number.
This concludes the Configuration menu. If you press ENTER again, you will go back to the first
routine. To exit Configuration, press the MODE key three times to return to the main display.
